My personal site Love Making Waves is moving in with us, right here on philandiva.com! From now on you will be able to view all LMW posts right here, by visiting Love Making Waves section of the website.
For those of you that are wondering what this project is about, here is a little explanation:
Three years ago, I would have never been able to imagine my life as I live it now. Back then I was sitting in my cubicle, freezing under the fluorescent lights, and looking to Google for answers (ok fine, I still do that sometimes). You see, back then, my boyfriend had recently moved onto his sailboat and invited me to come with him. The only problem was, I had no idea how to sail, and much less what living on a sailboat entailed.
So my search began. It started well, with the broader questions, “How to live on a boat?” “Can women live on sailboats?” and quickly digressed to “How to wash your hair in salt water?” and even “How to shave your legs on a boat?” Needless to say, I was clueless and no matter how many search results appeared, I did not find many answers to my questions.
Full of blissful ignorance I decided to take a leap of faith anyway and set sail.
Since then, I have been gathering experiences, collecting stories and most importantly meeting amazing women across the world that live, love and breathe nature.
Love Making Waves aims to bring women closer to each other, and closer to nature. It is a space to share those little sparks of wisdom that you can finally pass on after learning them the hard way. The girly tips & tricks to roughing it. To share stories that will one day encourage women everywhere to pursue their desire to travel and to venture into nature unafraid. To help each other face and conquer the adventures we dream of, no matter how big or small, near or far.
Our goal with Phil has always been to share our story in order to encourage others, so now philandiva.com will join forces with Love Making Waves and everyone can get involved!
